Frank Buckles and Santa Claus Visit Military Hospitals

M2000 working in conjunction with Santa’s Traveling Workshop, a 501 (c) 3 Foundation, arranged to bring Frank Buckles and the Macy’s Santa Claus to Walter Reed. On Thursday, June 19 2008, Frank Buckles and Macy’s Santa Claus visited Walter Reed Army Hospital where Commander Patricia Horoho arranged a very special ceremony that included a full Military Band, Army Color Guards and a tearful audience of several hundred, many of whom were Wounded Warriors.

At Walter Reed Hospital and Bethesda Naval Hospital, Macy’s Santa Claus brought the magic and spirit of Christmas, as well as gifts including Sony DVDs and Beanie Babies to the Wounded Warriors who received them with unforgettable smiles.
